Our company’s roots are in Gainesville and we truly believe in promoting local business within a community that actively supports us.

"We are all connected." Wal-Mart (From HOME Magazine) - The words buy local often invoke images of mom and pop stores, local farmers and long-standing area businesses. And while it is tempting to think that larger, big-box stores hurt local economies, such establishments actually play a vital role in the system. Read more.


"I'm proud to say we came out of Gainesville." - Dragonfly Sushi Co. (From HOME Magazine) - In the late 1990s, Hirofumi Leung and Song Kim were unemployed UF graduates when they decided to open a temporary, small sushi restaurant. But business picked up quickly and the college friends found themselves moving Dragonfly Sushi and Sake Company into a larger downtown location. "Purchasing in town creates more jobs." - A Candies Limousine (From HOME Magazine) - Sander Kaplan is a busy man. He and his wife, Lyncherie, are owners of A Candie’s Limousines and Motorcoaches, a thriving multi-faceted company with limousines, classic cars, sedan service and seven large motorcoaches. He also oversees the construction and administrative functions of nine Burger King restaurants in Alachua, Levy, Putnam and Columbia counties. Read more.
